These two thirty foot windows are unusual works of contemporary stained glass. They pay homage to the language and the traditions of gothic stained glass. The design has the traditional decorative border running around the perimeter of the window. This architecturally integrates the windows with the existing language of the building. Also, the diamonds and circles in the centre of the windows are an established theme in gothic windows. But as you explore the borders, you see they are executed with a lyricism that is entirely contemporary. Also, the way the diamonds and circles evolve from the content required at the base into these interweaving colours is completely modern.
These are exceptional works of art.
